The Tee Divas & Tee Dudes Black Golf History and Junior Recognition Event, scheduled for February 2 at Chester Washington Golf Course, is canceled.  

Tee Divas & Tee Dudes Junior Golf Program Salute Graduates

We are proud to announce that our TDTD Junior Golf Program has successfully graduated nine talented junior golfers, all of whom are heading off to college. Among them, seven have received scholarships and will be competing on college golf teams this fall.

Congratulations to the following athletes for their achievements:

• Isaiah Gold and Salma Ibrahim will be attending Southern University.
• Madison Williams will continue her journey at Prairie View A&M.
• Arihanna Esparza is headed to the University of Maryland Eastern Shores.
• Dontya Bell will play for California State University Dominguez Hills.
• Sehlai Purcell is set to join Vanguard University Costa Mesa California.
• Carolina Calzada will be attending King University, Tennessee.

TDTD Junior Golfer Sehlai Purcell Receives Hole in One Award

Sehlai achieved the rare feat on the Steph Curry Underrated Golf Tour

TDTD Junior Sehlai Purcell received the Hole in One Award from TDTD Junior Chair Jenny Bethune. Sehlai made the hole-in-one, also known as an “ace”, while playing on the Steph Curry Underrated Golf Tour this past summer. Sehlai became the 1st Junior to make the ace on the Underrated Tour.  Congrats Sehlai!

Tee Divas & Tee Dudes Junior Program

The Tee Divas & Tee Dudes Junior Program is an advocate and resource for African American, Hispanic, and other underrepresented groups to access the personal, educational, and professional rewards and opportunities that are offered to junior competitive golfers.

We offer a comprehensive program to support junior golfers, including referral to golf training activities, public speaking skill development, college prep, and scholarship workshops and seminars. We also work closely with our junior parents, connecting them to training, equipment, golf opportunities, and other resources for their junior golfers.

Program Partners:
Western States Golf Association (WSGA), the Inland Golf Academy (IGA), Cameron Champ Foundation, Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), Southern California Professional Golf Association (SCPGA), Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA), and the United States Golf Association (USGA).
