MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Gale “Par Lady” James Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of D. Gale James, a professional golf instructor until April 2015. The scholarship committee awards $500 to student golfers who are part of an organized golf program or who are interested in enhancing their golf skills and education.

We are committed to providing financial assistance and fair consideration based on academic performance, financial need, and involvement in school and community activities. The award may cover educational expenses, tournament fees, travel, equipment, golf-related costs, and accessories.

Applicants can qualify for additional funding by maintaining or exceeding a 2.6 grade point average and reapplying during the next scholarship application period. Awards are renewable, contingent on reapplication.

Eligible students must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a current high school junior or senior
2. Have a relative who is currently a member of the TDTD Golf Club
3. Have established and maintained a satisfactory academic record with a GPA of 2.6 (C+) or higher.
4. Please submit an official transcript or report card.
5. Please submit one professional letter of recommendation and one personal letter of recommendation. References may be contacted.
6. Show involvement in an organized golf program, such as a school golf team, SCGA, SCPGA, First Tee, or a similar program.
7. Submit a complete application, including all required documents, to be considered.

Applications are available on the Tee Divas and Tee Dudes Golf Club website, May 18, 2026.  The deadline for applying is on or before Friday, June 19, 2026.  Applications that are incomplete or postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted!   Presentation of the Recipient of the “Gale James Memorial Scholarship” will be on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, June 19, 2026, and sent to the following address:
