MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Gale “Par Lady” James Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of D. Gale James, a professional golf instructor until April 2015. The scholarship committee awards $500 to student golfers who are part of an organized golf program or who are interested in enhancing their golf skills and education.

We are committed to providing financial assistance and fair consideration based on academic performance, financial need, and involvement in school and community activities. The award may cover educational expenses, tournament fees, travel, equipment, golf-related costs, and accessories.

Applicants can qualify for additional funding by maintaining or exceeding a 2.6 grade point average and reapplying during the next scholarship application period. Awards are renewable, contingent on reapplication.

Eligible students must meet the following requirements:

1. Current juniors and seniors in high school
2. Applicants must have a relative who is a current member of TDTD Golf Club
3. Must have established and maintained a satisfactory academic record of 2.6 (C+) GPA
   or higher
4. Official transcript or report Card
5. One Professional and One Personal Letter of Recommendation.  (References may be contacted)
6. Demonstrate involvement in an organized golf program (school golf team, SCGA, SCPGA, First Tee, etc.)
7. The application must be complete to be considered.

Applications are available on the Tee Divas and Tee Dudes Golf Club website, April 14, 2025.  The deadline for applying is on or before Friday, June 6, 2025.  Applications that are incomplete or postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted!   Presentation of the Recipient of the “Gale James Memorial Scholarship” will be on Friday, July 25, 2025.

Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, June 6, 2025, and returned to:
